Salary: Depends on experience

ITM Power is committed to clean sustainable energy solutions based around water electrolysis. Our principal motivation is to engineer zero-carbon hydrogen energy systems that provide energy security and independence from fossil fuels. ITM’s electrolyser and fuel cell technologies have the potential to become the cornerstones of a future hydrogen economy based on ‘green’ hydrogen. Our hydrogen systems are able to convert renewable energy to a clean fuel that can be indefinitely stored for use in transport, residential and industrial applications.

ITM is looking for an Assembly Technician to join the team. For the role which is based in Sheffield you will be required to work with other assembly technicians and the development team to assemble and test electrolyser products and components to engineering drawings and ISO accredited quality assurance procedures. The role will report to the Assembly Team Leader.

This multi-skilled assembly role covers both mechanical and electrical skills. Knowledge of pressurised systems and ISO accredited systems will be an advantage. Training will be given in Company specific procedures. The successful candidate will be able to work without supervision but be able to seek support and advice when necessary. Good employment references and relevant qualifications are essential, and experience working in an engineering environment will be advantageous.
