COP23

13th November 2017 - 14th November 2017

Come and visit ITM Power on the UK Pavilion at COP23

The UK is hosting a Pavilion at the world’s most important annual climate change event – the 23rd Conference of the Parties – in Bonn from 6-17 November. The intention is to showcase and celebrate the UK’s role in tackling climate change and in leading a low carbon future, sharing innovations that will drive the future of the Paris Climate Change agreement.

This is the second time the UK has hosted a Pavilion at a Conference of Parties – the inaugural Pavilion hosted last year in Marrakesh was a great success, providing British companies with a platform to share their solutions with Africa and the world, creating networking opportunities with global partners in the commercial, diplomatic and science/academic arenas, and showcasing British expertise in green/low carbon innovation, including finance. We are looking to build on this success in Bonn, with an expanded programme and an enhanced display area.

The Pavilion will aim to showcase a Global Britain, highlighting UK policy leadership, scientific acumen and commercial strengths. We hope that both BEIS and FCO Ministers will be able to attend the high level segment of the second week, subject to Parliamentary timetable.

Our emerging programme will cover a broad range of topics across the climate and clean growth agenda, including UK renewable energy, green finance, climate policy (including the UK’s upcoming Clean Growth Plan), transport/electric vehicles, oceans and more.
