Later this month, ITM Power will be participating in the Hannover Messe industrial fair which will be officially opened by H.E. Barack Obama, President of the United States of America and Dr. Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. This year the United States is Partner Country at the world’s most important trade fair for industrial technology, which runs 25 – 29 April in Hannover, Germany.

The plant on display is funded by FCH JU and is part of the Hydrogen Mobility Europe (H2ME) project, which is the largest European project of this nature and is based around an alliance of the four most ambitious hydrogen mobility initiatives in Europe: H2 MOBILITY Deutschland, Mobilité Hydrogène France, Scandinavian Hydrogen Highway Partnership and UK H2 Mobility. H2ME will deploy 200 Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles, 125 fuel cell range-extended electric commercial vans and 29 new Hydrogen Refuelling Stations in 10 European countries by 2019.
