Marcus Newborough is Head of Passive Electrolyser Systems and Business Development at ITM.
Previously he was the Royal Academy of Engineering Research Professor in Energy and Environmental Engineering at Heriot-Watt University.
Marcus has 25 years research experience in energy systems with a research focus on low-carbon pathways. He has managed 32 industrial and government research contracts, supervised 27 PhD students and is author of over 90 papers in the scientific literature.

Phil joined ITM in July 2011 as Managing Director of ITM Power GmbH Germany.
Phil is a former investment banker and economist, who spent most of his banking career at UBS in Frankfurt, where he was Global Head of H2&FC.
He is a founding member of Fuel Cells Europe, and was a member of the EU Finance & Business Development Panel, managed by the EU Directorate R&D.
Kris has a background in Physics, Materials Science and Metallurgy.
He has been working with ITM for six years and now leads the MEA Development Group, which encompasses all of the company's work on membranes and catalysts for fuel cells and electrolysers, and novel uses of ITM's patented technology.

Shaun joined ITM in 2007 as Production Manager and has been responsible for setting up of the factory, employment and training of factory staff, ISO accreditation and is working towards CE marking.
Before joining ITM Shaun was Production Manager at Materialise UK for two years and had spent ten years at Gripple Ltd in various management roles.
Shaun has a degree in Business Management and is currently studying towards an Executive MBA.

Rachel has worked for ITM since its incorporation in 2002. Starting as a research scientist Rachel has a solid background in ITM materials and their use in electrochemical cells.
She has worked on and managed various externally funded projects and now acts as the funding co-ordinator for ITM's activities. Rachel also manages ITM's patent and trademark portfolio.
Steve is ITMs Business Development Manager and has been working for ITM since 2005. Having worked within core research, product testing and product development Steve has been involved in developing ITMs suite of patented membrane materials and manufacturing processes and has an excellent understanding of all aspects of ITM's technology.
Steve has managed a number of successful projects for ITM including the H-ICE bi-fuel car development and the static hydrogen refueller.
Steve has a BSc and MPhil in materials science and engineering from Birmingham University where he was part of the universities alternative energy group.
Steve is currently studying for an Executive MBA.
Charles joined ITM in November 2008, as Marketing and PR officer to raise the profile of ITM Power and its technology, highlighting its application for decarbonising transport and the built environment, to policy makers, industry and the media.
Prior to joining Charles spent 12 years in environmental consultancy specialising in environmental liability associated with hydrocarbons for the insurance, transport logistics and fuel sectors. As a director for the RAW Group he held responsibility for marketing and business development.
